First of all, thanks for another great night at Atwood's Tavern. Breaking out the new electric guitar for the first time felt great, and it was a real pleasure playing with Chris Sartori, Greg Settino and Paul Sullivan.
I've got a few upcoming shows this weekend to let you know about:
Sunday 5/29 Passim Campfire Festival My slot is Sunday 12:45-2:05pm in the round with Isa Burke, Seth Wonka, and Annabelle Lord-Patey. But the festival lasts the whole long weekend, so definitely check out the other acts. Passim is probably the best folky listening room in town, so I can't wait to bring some of my new acoustic tunes there. This show will also be live video webcast at https://www.concertwindow.com/clubpassim for those of you outside the Boston area.
Happy Thanksgiving! I've got a few cool shows coming up next month I want to tell you about. I'll be back in NYC at the Sidewalk Cafe with my good friend/saxophonist Greg Blair Friday 12/4. Then on Saturday 12/5 we'll be back up in Somerville, MA at Aeronaut Brewery where David Gallagher will join us for a set of my music as well as a bunch of tunes by The Band. Hope to see you at one of the shows! More info at: sawyerlawson.com/shows
'Shine' has made its way onto radio station playlists all around the U.S. (primarily AAA and AMA formats) as well as some in Canada and Europe. I'm proud to say that every song off the record has received airplay. 'Winter Glow', 'Shoe Shine' and 'The Driving Song' were among the most commonly picked up by the stations.
